Hello, I’m Ana!
I was born and raised in Portugal, but much of my life has unfolded through movement—between countries, cultures, and seasons of inner transition. Along the way, I’ve discovered that faith is not something to be perfected, but something we hold with honesty and care as it unfolds.
Sacred Friendship emerged out of this lived experience. It is a space shaped by gentle presence, open listening, and attentive companionship—a place to rest in honesty, without pressure to perform or fix.
My posture is not to lead, fix, or direct, but to offer attentive companionship—making room for what is already stirring in a person’s life and for the gentle work of God within it.
A Neurodivergence-Inclusive Space
Sacred Friendship is intentionally shaped to make room for different ways of thinking, sensing, processing, and relating — including neurodivergent, ADHD, and highly sensitive ways of being, with attentiveness to the brain and nervous system. We name this explicitly because many people have felt misunderstood, rushed, or pressured to fit a single mold in spiritual and helping spaces. We believe that neurodivergent minds and bodies bear the image of God fully and often manifest the life and presence of Jesus in uniquely creative, perceptive, and embodied ways — different, not deficient. Here, learning, practice, and becoming are held with patience and care, guided by the Holy Spirit and attentive to the wisdom of the body and nervous system. This is not about fixing or managing difference, but about honoring the diverse ways God forms people in love.
